Part‑Time HGV Class 1 Driver

About the role

Join Tesco’s delivery team as a part‑time HGV Class 1 driver based at the Aylesford distribution centre. You’ll be the face of Tesco on the road, delivering products to stores while enjoying the flexibility of a weekend‑focused rota.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the Tesco brand safely and professionally on UK roads.
• Collect and deliver goods to assigned stores, ensuring items arrive on time and in good condition.
• Work collaboratively with distribution‑centre staff and managers, communicating any issues promptly.
• Adhere to all road‑traffic laws and company safety procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience driving an HGV Class 1 vehicle.
• Ability to work the designated weekend rota (Thursday‑Saturday or Sunday‑Tuesday).
• Flexibility to start shifts at times discussed during interview.

Required skills

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £18.06 plus premium pay (25% night, 33% weekends, 50% overtime).
• 27.5 hours per week on a rotating schedule.
