Part‑time Housekeeper – 16 hrs/week

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Housekeeper to join our specialist residential service at Hollyhurst in Darlington. Working 16 hours per week, you will help maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment for residents with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a cleaning and general housekeeping service.
• Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness.
• Carry out daily and weekly cleaning regimes.
• Replenish stock and keep equipment clean and well maintained.
• Employ safe working practices and adhere to health and safety procedures.
• Comply with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations.

Required profile

• Experience in housekeeping or domestic work.
• Knowledge of COSHH regulations.
• Friendly, conscientious and positive attitude.
• Good communication skills.

• COSHH knowledge.
