Part‑Time Operations & Procurement Coordinator

About the role

This part‑time position supports the day‑to‑day operations of a busy manufacturing and distribution business. You will act as the central hub for order processing, supplier liaison and logistics coordination, ensuring smooth delivery of products to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer orders from receipt to delivery.
• Raise purchase orders and place orders with suppliers.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, warehouses and courier partners.
• Monitor stock levels and address supply issues proactively.
• Coordinate deliveries, track shipments and resolve any issues.
• Serve as first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email.
• Prepare quotations, order confirmations and update records in CRM and order‑management systems.

Required profile

• Previous experience in operations, procurement, supply‑chain or customer service.
• Strong organisational ability and capacity to juggle multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Comfortable working in a job‑share, part‑time arrangement.
• Experience in a manufacturing, distribution or technical environment is desirable.
