Part‑time Optometrist – Broadstairs

About the role

Vision Express is seeking a qualified optometrist to work part‑time on weekends at our Broadstairs store. You will use state‑of‑the‑art equipment to diagnose and advise patients, contributing to both clinical excellence and store performance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using OCT and Auto Phoropter.
• Provide clear diagnoses and recommend appropriate corrective lenses or treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with GOC standards.
• Support the commercial goals of the store by delivering high‑quality customer service.
• Participate in weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional overtime via the TG Pool.

Required profile

• Qualified and GOC‑registered optometrist.
• Strong clinical expertise with a patient‑focused approach.
• Team player who enjoys sharing ideas and supporting colleagues.
• Commitment to the commercial success of the store.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT).
• Experience using an Auto Phoropter.
