Part‑time Payroll Coordinator – Leeds

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator to join our busy finance team in Leeds on a part‑time basis. The role offers a hybrid working model after a successful probation period and provides the chance to manage both weekly and monthly payroll cycles in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process weekly and monthly payroll accurately and on time.
• Complete EPS submissions and HMRC reporting.
• Analyse weekly timesheet data and generate payroll‑related reports.
• Manage Attachment of Earnings requirements and payments.
• Support annual P11D processing and produce Gender Pay Gap reporting.
• Handle new starter, leaver, and P45 administration.
• Respond to employee payroll and payslip queries.
• Submit pension and union fee deductions to the appropriate bodies.
• Assist the wider finance team with ad‑hoc administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Previous payroll experience (preferred).
• Good understanding of PAYE, National Insurance and payroll procedures.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Positive, adaptable approach and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
