Part‑Time Payroll & Tax Administrator (4 days/week)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll & Tax Administrator to join our friendly, professional team on a part‑time basis. Working four days a week in our Petersfield office, you will ensure accurate payroll processing and timely self‑assessment tax returns for a range of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Process multiple weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll runs accurately and on schedule.
• Prepare and submit self‑assessment tax returns for clients.
• Maintain compliance with PAYE, National Insurance and pension legislation.
• Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Keep payroll records and employee information up to date.
• Liaise with clients to deliver a professional and reliable service.

Required profile

• Previous experience processing multiple payroll runs.
• Experience completing self‑assessment tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, PAYE and pensions.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Friendly, professional attitude with the ability to manage a busy workload.

Required skills

• Proficiency with payroll software.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
