Part‑time Pharmacist (25.5 hrs/week)

About the role

As a pharmacist in Asda’s St Helens store you will be the frontline professional delivering NHS and private pharmacy services to a busy community. Working a 25.5‑hour week across a rotating day and evening rota, you will ensure safe dispensing, provide expert advice and support your pharmacy team.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medicines accurately and in line with GPhC standards.
• Deliver NHS and private services, including emergency prescriptions and urgent care.
• Provide patient counselling, health advice and support vulnerable customers.
• Manage day‑to‑day pharmacy operations and stock control.
• Lead and develop the pharmacy team, ensuring a safe and compliant environment.

Required profile

• Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
• Accredited to provide national and local NHS services and private healthcare.
• Strong communication and empathy with customers.
• Proven leadership ability in a fast‑paced pharmacy setting.
