Part‑time Pharmacist (30 hrs/week)

About the role

As a pharmacist in our Gosport Asda store you will be the frontline health professional delivering NHS and private pharmacy services to a diverse community. Working 30 hours per week across a rotating day‑shift pattern you will ensure safe dispensing, provide expert advice and support the pharmacy team.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medicines accurately and in accordance with GPhC standards.
• Deliver NHS and private pharmacy services, including emergency prescriptions and urgent care.
• Provide patient counselling, health advice and support vulnerable customers.
• Manage and develop the pharmacy team, ensuring high standards of service and safety.
• Maintain stock levels, handle ordering and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Accredited to provide national and local NHS services and private healthcare.
• Strong communication and empathy with customers.
• Proven leadership ability in a fast‑paced pharmacy environment.
