About the role

This permanent part‑time position (0.5 FTE) is for a qualified Primary Teacher to deliver Key Stage 2 lessons in a well‑regarded school in Blackburn. The role offers a balanced workload while contributing to pupil progress and attainment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess KS2 curriculum across core subjects.
• Use evidence‑based teaching strategies to raise pupil attainment.
• Collaborate with the leadership team and fellow staff to maintain a supportive learning environment.
• Monitor and report on pupil progress, adapting interventions as needed.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development and community activities.

Required profile
