Part‑time Primary Teacher (Yr4/5) – Horley

About the role

Teaching Personnel is seeking a part‑time Primary Teacher for Years 4‑5 to join a thriving school in Horley from September 2026. The role is job‑share, covering 2.5 days per week (Wednesday‑Friday) for at least one term, offering a supportive environment for both experienced educators and those new to the profession.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Assess, record and report pupil progress to ensure every child reaches their potential.
• Maintain effective behaviour management strategies and promote positive classroom interaction.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience teaching the UK curriculum.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
