Part‑Time Sales Assistant (10‑12 hrs/week)

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Sales Assistant to join Heron Foods in Newton‑le‑Willows. The role involves supporting store operations, ensuring shelves are stocked and customers receive excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Check and organise deliveries to keep the store stocked and presentable.
• Maintain high presentation standards by keeping shelves tidy and well‑filled.
• Assist customers promptly and courteously, providing a positive shopping experience.
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve store goals.

Required profile

• Friendly, approachable attitude with a passion for customer service.
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a busy, fast‑moving environment.
• Prior experience in sales, retail or hospitality is desirable but not essential.
