About the role

Join Superdrug as a Sales Assistant in Barnstaple and become the friendly face that welcomes customers each day. Working 8 hours a week with flexible shifts, you’ll help deliver the brand’s health‑and‑beauty promise while gaining valuable retail experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and provide expert advice on health and beauty products.
• Promote and sell featured "Star Buys" to meet daily sales targets.
• Maintain a clean, well‑stocked store environment, ensuring shelves are replenished.
• Assist with in‑store services, including optional piercing procedures after training.
• Contribute to achieving store performance goals through proactive customer engagement.

Required profile

• Positive mindset and clear communication skills.
• Passion for health, beauty and delivering excellent customer service.
• Eagerness to learn and develop product knowledge.
• Flexibility to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday shifts.
• Willingness to undertake piercing services with provided training.
