Part‑time Sales Assistant – Retail

About the role

Join Topps Tiles as a part‑time Sales Assistant and help customers bring their tiling projects to life. You will work in a friendly store environment, assisting shoppers with product choices and supporting the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and advise customers on tile selections and design ideas.
• Assist trade customers and build lasting relationships.
• Handle sales transactions and process commissions.
• Maintain store presentation, including lifting and restocking tiles.
• Provide accurate product information and recommend suitable solutions.

Required profile

• Outgoing, friendly attitude with a positive approach to customer service.
• Ability to work 20 hours per week, including occasional weekends.
• Willingness to lift and move heavy boxes of tiles.
• Minimum age of 18.

Required skills

• Basic numeracy for handling sales transactions.
• Good communication skills for interacting with customers.
