Part‑time Sales & Supply Chain Coordinator

About the role

This part‑time position supports an established supplier of essential goods, coordinating customer orders, procurement and logistics. Working in a job‑share arrangement, you will ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations across sales, purchasing and warehouse activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer orders from quotation through to delivery.
• Raise purchase orders, source products, obtain quotations and liaise with suppliers.
• Coordinate deliveries with suppliers, warehouse partners, fitters and couriers, resolving issues proactively.
• Monitor stock levels, supplier lead times and delivery schedules, providing updates as needed.
• Serve as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email.
• Prepare quotations, order confirmations and maintain accurate records.
• Update CRM and order‑management systems and other business documentation.
• Support warehouse fulfilment and contribute to process improvements.
• Collaborate closely with a job‑share partner to ensure seamless handovers.

Required profile

• Previous experience in operations, procurement, office administration, customer service or supply‑chain coordination.
• Experience working with suppliers and coordinating deliveries.
• Excellent organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with customers and suppliers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Experience using order‑management software.

What we offer

• Competitive salary between £16,200 and £24,000 per annum, dependent on rate and hours.
• Part‑time schedule (3‑4 days per week, 22.5‑30 hours).
