Part‑time Travel & Tourism Lecturer (Hourly)

About the role

This part‑time, hourly‑paid position is for a Travel and Tourism Lecturer who will join the curriculum team within the School of Customer Service Industries. You will help develop and deliver high‑quality programmes, support student success and contribute to the overall growth of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures and seminars across a range of Travel and Tourism topics.
• Provide pastoral support and guidance to students, helping them achieve their academic goals.
• Contribute to curriculum design, development and continuous improvement.
• Maintain high standards of teaching quality and assessment.
• Participate in departmental meetings and collaborative projects.

Required profile

• UK Honours degree or ENIC‑recognised equivalent in a relevant subject.
• Recognised teaching qualification (or currently undertaking one).
• Level 2 qualification in numeracy and literacy (or equivalent).
• Current industry experience in Travel, Tourism or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to teach a wide range of levels with strong achievement rates.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required beyond standard teaching competencies.
