Pastry Chef de Partie – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join the award‑winning culinary team at Grantley Hall, a five‑star country house hotel in North Yorkshire. Working in a luxury environment, you will help create both sweet and savoury pastry items that meet the high standards expected by our discerning guests.

Key responsibilities

• Support the smooth, safe and efficient operation of the pastry section.
• Prepare a range of sweet and savoury treats, maintaining exceptional quality.
• Maintain cleanliness, stock control and organisation of the pastry kitchen.
• Provide feedback to the Head Pastry Chef on guest comments and team performance.
• Assist other sections and perform additional duties as required.
• Continuously seek improvement and uphold the hotel’s luxury standards.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for pastry and both sweet and savoury creations.
• Eagerness to learn and innovate within a high‑end hospitality setting.
• Strong kitchen, baking and knife skills.
• Thorough knowledge of health, safety and food‑safety regulations.
• Ability to work to the exacting standards of a luxury establishment.
• Experience supervising or guiding junior kitchen staff.
