PAT Tester – Commercial Sites (2 positions)

About the role

We are seeking two qualified PAT Testers to join our team on a 6‑month contract with the possibility of extension. You will travel to a variety of commercial sites across Swindon, Bristol, Berkshire and North Hampshire, ensuring that all portable electrical equipment is safe, compliant and properly documented.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) on electrical equipment at multiple commercial locations.
• Inspect and test appliances in line with current UK safety standards.
• Accurately record test results and maintain clear, up‑to‑date documentation.
• Identify defects, report issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Represent the organisation professionally while working on customer premises.

Required profile

• City & Guilds 2377 PAT testing qualification or an equivalent recognised certification.
• Proven experience conducting PAT in commercial environments.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate reporting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
