Payroll Administrator – Competitive Pay & Flexible Hours

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Payroll Administrator to join our growing professional services team in Newton Abbot. You will deliver accurate, timely payroll services for a diverse client base while ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and pension requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Process weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for multiple clients.
• Submit Real‑Time Information (RTI) to HMRC and handle CIS submissions.
• Administer pension auto‑enrolment and related reporting.
• Liaise with HMRC and respond to client queries.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and produce regular reports.
• Support year‑end payroll activities and audit data for compliance.

Required profile

• CIPP qualification or at least 2 years of payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, RTI and pensions.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines.
• Previous experience in a payroll bureau is advantageous.
