Payroll Coordinator – Full‑time/Part‑time (Petersfield)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator to join our growing team based in Petersfield. This role offers the chance to work in a fast‑paced environment delivering accurate payroll services.

Key responsibilities

• Processing weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time.
• Managing payroll data, including starters, leavers, and changes to employee records.
• Calculating statutory payments, deductions, overtime, and pensions.
• Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and payroll legislation.
• Submitting payroll information and reports as required.
• Responding to employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintaining confidential payroll records and documentation.
• Supporting payroll audits and year‑end processes.

Required profile

• Previous payroll experience is essential.
• Experience using Sage Payroll and/or BrightPay is required.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.
• Strong communication and administrative skills.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to own vehicle.
