PCB Assembly Technician – Waterlooville

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented PCB Assembly Technician to join our electronics manufacturing team in Waterlooville. The role involves assembling, soldering, testing and inspecting printed circuit boards to meet strict quality standards and product specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components on PCBs using hand tools, soldering irons and automated SMT/through‑hole equipment.
• Interpret assembly drawings, schematics and bills of materials.
• Perform hand soldering of fine‑pitch surface‑mount and through‑hole parts.
• Operate SMT pick‑and‑place machines, reflow ovens, wave‑soldering equipment and inspection tools.
• Conduct visual inspections and functional tests to identify defects.
• Troubleshoot and rework PCBs as required.
• Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to improve assembly processes.
