PCV Bus Driver – Full‑time, Tunbridge Wells

About the role

Join Arriva at the Tunbridge Wells depot as a PCV Bus Driver and become a vital part of the local community. You will transport commuters, shoppers, and schoolchildren, ensuring they reach their destinations safely and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Operate PCV‑licensed buses on assigned routes, adhering to timetables and safety regulations.
• Assist passengers with boarding, alighting, and any enquiries they may have.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment inside the vehicle.
• Report any incidents, vehicle issues, or route disruptions to the depot team.
• Participate in regular CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) training and safety briefings.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Valid PCV licence (Category D) with no more than six penalty points.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work rotating shift patterns, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overtime.
