PE Teacher – Secondary School (Full‑time, Temporary)

About the role
Zest Education Ltd is recruiting a Physical Education teacher for a thriving secondary school in Acocks Green, Birmingham. The role is full‑time, temporary supply work within a supportive faculty that values student well‑being and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe learning environment.
- Adapt lessons creatively to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Contribute to departmental meetings and wider school initiatives.
- Utilise the school’s indoor and outdoor facilities to enhance the curriculum.
Required profile
- PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification with QTS or QTLS.
- Strong passion for physical education and solid knowledge of the KS3/KS4 curriculum.
- Ability to control classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
- Recent school‑based experience (within the last 5 years) or relevant care‑based experience.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to undergo processing) and registration on the DBS Update Service.
