Join a leading mental health provider in Sussex and turn your lived experience into a powerful tool for change. As a Peer Facilitator, you will play a vital role in helping individuals rediscover hope, build meaningful connections, and regain confidence through peer-led support.

Missions principales

  • Co-facilitate peer support groups alongside a Lead Peer Facilitator for individuals facing similar mental health challenges.
  • Organize and host social spaces for those who have already benefited from support to foster community connection.
  • Create a welcoming and safe environment for all participants through active listening and inclusive facilitation.
  • Deliver accessible activities designed to strengthen social bonds and build self-confidence among service users.
  • Engage in reflective practices and team meetings to continuously improve support delivery.

Profil recherché

  • Lived experience of mental health challenges or living with a long-term mental illness is essential.
  • A genuine passion for group facilitation and supporting others in their recovery journey.
  • Strong interpersonal and active listening skills to make participants feel heard and valued.
  • Ability to travel within the Brighton and Hove areas.
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS check (provided by the employer).
