Pensions Data Services Associate Consultant

About the role

This position joins a leading pensions consultancy’s specialist data team in Edinburgh. You will work on project‑focused assignments that help pension schemes improve data readiness, support de‑risking initiatives and deliver complex pension calculations.

Key responsibilities

• Support pension schemes with data readiness and improvement projects.
• Work on buy‑in, buy‑out and broader de‑risking exercises.
• Assist with GMP data projects and prepare pension dashboards.
• Develop bulk solutions for complex pension calculations.
• Collaborate closely with actuarial, administration and de‑risking specialists.
• Help clients meet regulatory and strategic data requirements.

Required profile

• Experience with DB pension schemes.
• Background in pensions administration, actuarial work or pensions data.
• Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
