Pensions Partner – Legal Director (Glasgow)

About the role

We are seeking a Pensions Partner or Legal Director to join our nationally recognised pensions practice in Glasgow. The role offers a high degree of autonomy, hybrid working and the chance to shape the strategic direction of a well‑established team.

Key responsibilities

• Advise employers, trustees and individuals on defined benefit and defined contribution schemes.
• Provide guidance on governance, regulatory compliance and scheme documentation.
• Support corporate transactions, restructurings, PPF‑related work and public‑sector arrangements.
• Collaborate with employment and corporate teams to deliver integrated advice.
• Develop and maintain client and referrer relationships, contributing to business development.

Required profile

• Established client following and recognised pensions law reputation.
• Proven track record of winning and sustaining work.
• Motivated by strategy, leadership and team development.
• Commercial and pragmatic approach to pensions advice.
