Pensions Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading global consultancy’s pensions team in London. The role involves delivering complex Defined Benefit pension change projects for high‑profile clients across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of projects such as GMP equalisation, buy‑in/out readiness, benefit rectification, scheme mergers and wind‑ups.
• Collaborate with clients, administrators, actuaries and internal specialists to ensure successful outcomes.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, facilitate project discussions and drive results in data‑intensive environments.
• Contribute to internal improvement initiatives and help shape project delivery standards across the team.

Required profile

• Strong background in UK Defined Benefit pensions, preferably within a pensions administration, consultancy or actuarial setting.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, navigate ambiguity and solve problems proactively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Formal project‑management qualifications (e.g., Prince2, APM) are advantageous but not mandatory.
