About the role
The People Services Advisor partners with managers and employees to deliver expert HR advice across the employee lifecycle, while driving operational excellence through technology, automation and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice to managers and employees across the employee lifecycle.
- Lead and support employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence management.
- Coach managers to build confidence in handling people issues and ensure policies are applied fairly and in line with UK employment legislation.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation and AI solutions to simplify People Services.
- Use people data and metrics to produce insights that support business decisions.
- Lead or contribute to global People initiatives, change projects and HR technology implementations.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a People or HR Advisor in a generalist environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and employee relations case management.
- Commercial judgement with ability to influence and challenge constructively.
- Track record of delivering process improvements and using digital tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage projects and work under pressure.
Required skills
- Workday or other enterprise HRIS.
- AI‑enabled workplace technologies.
- Data analysis and reporting.
- Digital tools for HR automation.
