About the role

The People & Culture Coordinator is the operational backbone of VERB’s people function, supporting the full employee lifecycle and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day HR processes. Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, this early‑career professional will blend administrative precision with a passion for people, helping the agency scale its culture and compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with the Director and People Business Partner to manage daily HR operations and act as primary administrator of HR systems and employee records.
  • Coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment logistics, from job posting to interview scheduling and candidate communication.
  • Lead onboarding and off‑boarding processes, handling documentation, equipment requests, and first‑week schedules.
  • Maintain HRIS data and people folders with high accuracy for reporting and compliance.
  • Support benefits administration, answering employee queries on coverage and enrollment.
  • Assist with Learning & Development initiatives, tracking attendance and managing workshop logistics.
  • Organize team events, rituals, and recognition programs that reinforce VERB’s values.
  • Help develop, maintain, and communicate people policies on internal platforms.
  • Collect basic HR data and generate reports on engagement surveys and headcount trends.

Required profile

  • 1‑3 years of progressive HR or People experience, preferably in a fast‑paced or agency environment.
  • Post‑secondary education in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development or related field; progress toward CHRP/CPHR is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with a proven track record of managing multiple administrative tasks while maintaining detail orientation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
