People and Culture Director

About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity to join SettleParadigm Housing Group at a pivotal stage of its evolution following a major merger. The People and Culture Director will join the senior leadership team to shape the people agenda, embed cultural change and strengthen capability across the newly formed organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead an established People & Culture function, providing strategic direction and operational excellence.
• Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to advise, challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
• Embed the new organisation’s culture, ways of working and values.
• Strengthen the Business Partnering model to align HR services with business needs.
• Develop leadership capability and succession pipelines.
• Support the integration phase and ensure the People function continues to evolve as a core business partner.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior People & Culture or HR leader.
• Demonstrated ability to work at board level and influence senior executives.
• Track record of delivering post‑merger integration and cultural transformation.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with operational delivery skills.
