People Coordinator – Offshore Crew Logistics

About the role

Our client, an established offshore services provider, is looking for a People Coordinator to manage the safe and timely mobilisation of offshore crew to worksites and vessels. This role sits at the heart of the operations team, blending travel logistics, certification tracking and daily liaison with crew, agencies and shipping partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate crew changes, mobilisations and demobilisations according to schedules and project needs.
• Verify that all offshore personnel hold required competencies and certifications before deployment and record them in the HR system.
• Arrange offshore training, survival courses and medical examinations with approved providers.
• Organise travel, visas and work permits in a cost‑effective and timely manner.
• Liaise with manning agencies and global shipping agents to source staff and manage crew transfers.
• Track and report crew utilisation to support competency planning.
• Maintain accurate personnel files and ensure timely submission of timesheets and invoice approvals.
• Provide on‑call support when required.

Required profile

• Experience arranging domestic and international travel, preferably with visa and work‑permit handling.
• Background in offshore, marine or energy sectors is desirable.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Comfortable working with data, trackers and HR systems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Flexible and willing to provide on‑call support.
