People & Culture Advisor

About the role

This 6‑month Fixed‑Term Contract offers the chance to join a purpose‑driven organisation as a People & Culture Advisor. You will work within a high‑performing People team, partnering closely with managers to shape the employee experience and support change initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to managers on employee‑relations matters, delivering balanced, practical advice.
• Coach and support managers to build capability in handling people issues.
• Own the end‑to‑end colleague experience from onboarding through exit.
• Contribute to business‑wide initiatives such as change programmes, wellbeing and EDI activities.
• Identify development needs, support performance improvement and partner with stakeholders.
• Collaborate across the People function to ensure consistent, high‑quality service.
• Provide data‑driven insights to aid decision‑making and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a generalist HR/People Advisor role with strong employee‑relations exposure.
• Excellent relationship‑building and influencing skills at all organisational levels.
• Pragmatic, solutions‑focused approach with the ability to coach and challenge constructively.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law applied in a commercial context.
• CIPD Level 5 (or working towards qualification).
• Comfortable thriving in a changing environment and eager to contribute to transformation.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to manage a varied workload.

Required skills

What we offer

• Competitive salary between £36,000 and £38,500 per year.
