People Operations Manager – Global HR Operations

About the role

tonies is looking for a People Operations Manager to act as the organisational backbone of its People & Culture team. You will ensure seamless HR processes for employees in the UK, France, Australia and New Zealand while collaborating with colleagues in the US and Germany.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle – contracts, changes, off‑boarding and reference letters.
• Maintain accurate salary and benefits data and coordinate payroll with external partners.
• Support onboarding through the Buddy Programme and newcomer meetings.
• Act as a power‑user of the HRIS (Personio) to keep digital personnel files up‑to‑date and legally compliant.
• Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging automation and AI.
• Develop self‑service knowledge resources for HR queries.
• Support established UK processes and build People Operations capabilities in France, Australia and New Zealand.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR operations or People Operations.
• Strong attention to data accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to work across multiple countries and time zones.
• Proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Personio (HRIS) proficiency.
• Familiarity with Notion (optional but beneficial).
