People Partner – HR Business Partner

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced People Partner to join a global FMCG organisation at a busy manufacturing site in Coleford. You will be the first point of contact for managers and employees, delivering high‑quality HR support and helping to shape an outstanding employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with site managers, providing expert HR advice on employee relations, performance management and people matters.
• Lead employee‑relations cases, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes.
• Support complex ER cases alongside the wider People & Culture Business Partner team.
• Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures and UK employment legislation.
• Assist with recruitment activities on‑site, including interview participation.
• Support organisational change, employee lifecycle events and exits.
• Act as a liaison between the site and HR Centres of Excellence.
• Help drive employee engagement, data integrity and continuous improvement of HR processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist or People Partner in a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Strong employee‑relations background, including investigations and case management.
• Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Excellent coaching, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
