People Project Manager (12-18 month Fixed-Term)

About the role

We are looking for a People Project Manager to lead and support projects that drive transformational change within AVEVA’s People team and the wider business. This 12‑18 month fixed‑term role is based in Cambridge and works in a hybrid model, combining office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget while meeting quality standards.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, including workstream coordination within larger programmes.
• Produce and maintain high‑quality project documentation and reports.
• Identify and mitigate risks, engage stakeholders, and ensure effective communication and change management.
• Support colleagues in initiating their own projects by providing tools, guidance and best‑practice methodologies.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives within the People team.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing projects in an HR or People team environment.
• Strong relationship‑building and influencing abilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving, presentation and organisational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across regional or global teams.

Required skills

• Project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile or PMP.
• Familiarity with HR systems implementation, payroll or talent and reward projects.
• Proficiency with project management tools and documentation standards.
