People Services Coordinator

About the role

The People Services Coordinator supports City Football Group’s People Services team in Manchester, ensuring HR administration runs smoothly and efficiently. You will act as a central point for HR queries, data handling and process coordination across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the People Services inbox, respond to employee and manager queries promptly.
• Maintain HR systems, run reports and perform data checks to meet deadlines.
• Process starters, leavers, employee changes and payroll inputs accurately.
• Coordinate maternity, paternity and shared parental cases.
• Support day‑to‑day people administration and assist with wider HR projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in HR administration within a busy or medium‑to‑large organisation.
• Knowledge of core HR processes such as onboarding, off‑boarding and employee changes.
• Proven ability to input payroll data and work to strict deadlines.
• Comfort handling confidential information and delivering professional responses.
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills.
