Performance & Development Manager – Surrey Area

About the role

This brand‑new role is designed to elevate the confidence and success of Mortgage Advisors across Surrey. You will guide new recruits through onboarding, support experienced advisors to reach new heights, and ensure the T&C framework is delivered to the highest standard while helping the business grow.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver onboarding and induction support for new Mortgage Advisors.
• Coach and develop existing advisors to improve performance, productivity and protection penetration.
• Conduct observations, KPI reviews, development reviews and CPD support within the T&C framework.
• Support branch integration and help embed new recruits.
• Share best practice and contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes.
• Provide insight, reporting and recommendations to support performance decisions.
• Work closely with Area Mortgage Managers, the Financial Services Director, Training Manager and Compliance.

Required profile

• Motivated by developing others and driving performance.
• CEMAP qualified (or equivalent).
• Strong relationship‑building skills.
• Solid work ethic, organised and able to thrive under pressure.
• Experienced in coaching, onboarding or performance management (Financial Services experience ideal).
• Confident working within a T&C framework.
• Full driving licence.
