Performance Marketing Manager

About the role

Instantprint, the UK’s largest online printer, is seeking a commercially‑minded Performance Marketing Manager to own and grow its acquisition channels. You will be responsible for the full performance‑marketing mix, from paid search to emerging AI‑driven discovery, and will be held accountable for ROI on every pound spent.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise paid search strategies (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads) across multiple product categories, continuously reallocating spend to the highest‑margin activities.
• Lead Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) to improve visibility in AI‑driven search and answer engines, working with web and dev teams on structured data and technical accessibility.
• Identify, pitch and test new acquisition channels (social, affiliate, marketplaces, AI‑driven platforms) using a rigorous test‑and‑learn framework.
• Own the performance‑marketing budget, reconcile reported performance with actual revenue and margin, and report ROI to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing paid search at a meaningful budget with a track record of improving ROI.
• Strong interest and early hands‑on experience in AI‑driven search visibility (GEO).
• Solid understanding of technical SEO fundamentals and experience briefing development teams.
• Test‑and‑learn mindset with the ability to propose, execute and scale new channel experiments.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills, comfortable working with data, attribution models and channel‑level P&L.
• Experience in e‑commerce, preferably in a multi‑category or configurator‑style buying journey.
