Peripatetic Support Worker

About the role

We are seeking warm, flexible, and motivated individuals to work as Peripatetic Support Workers across Tyneside and Durham. You will deliver person‑centred support to service users living in bespoke developments, helping them thrive in their own tenancies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide person‑centred support across North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Sunderland, Gateshead, Durham, Consett and Hartlepool.
• Assist with medication application and complete MAR (Medication Administration Record) sheets.
• Deliver personal care and facilitate community access for service users.
• Build and maintain warm, trusting relationships with individuals.
• Travel between locations safely, using a valid driver’s licence.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months’ experience in a care‑related role.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to person‑centred care.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel across a large geographical area.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and residence within the UK.

Required skills

• Medication administration and MAR sheet completion.
• Personal care provision.
• Facilitating community access and support.
• Safe driving and navigation of the North East region.
