Permanent HGV Class 2 Driver – Reading

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 driver for a permanent, full‑time position based in Reading. The role involves multi‑drop deliveries of packaging products, working a standard 40‑hour week with overtime paid at £25 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Perform multi‑drop deliveries of packaging products to customers across the Reading area.
• Maintain delivery schedules and ensure timely arrivals.
• Complete required paperwork and electronic tachograph records.
• Uphold vehicle safety standards and conduct routine checks.
• Provide courteous customer service and communicate effectively with clients.

Required profile

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Current CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
• Minimum of one year HGV Class 2 driving experience for insurance purposes.
• Previous experience in multi‑drop delivery.
• Reliable, professional attitude with good communication skills.

What we offer
