Permanent Nursery Practitioner (Level 2/3) – Horley

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming early years setting in Horley on a permanent, full‑time basis. The role offers stable Monday‑to‑Friday hours, professional development and the chance to make a lasting impact on young children’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver play‑based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Act as a key person for a designated group of children, monitoring milestones and maintaining progress records.
• Provide a safe, clean, and emotionally supportive environment for babies and toddlers.
• Engage with parents and carers, offering daily updates and building trusting relationships.
• Uphold safeguarding, health, safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Required profile

• NVQ / CACHE / NCFE Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Previous experience in a UK nursery, early years or pre‑school setting.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one via the Update Service).
• Reliable, caring, proactive attitude with a commitment to a long‑term early years career.
