Permanent Teaching Assistant – Secondary School

About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming secondary school in Amersham on a permanent, full‑time basis starting in September. You will work closely with teachers and students to support learning across a range of subjects and help raise attainment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide classroom support during lessons for secondary‑age students.
- Assist teachers with preparation, resources and classroom activities.
- Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning.
- Encourage student participation, confidence and engagement.
- Support pupils with additional learning needs where required.
