Personal Injury & Credit Hire Claims Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury & Credit Hire Claims Team Leader to join a fast‑growing claims management business. In this remote position you will lead a team of motor claims adjusters, drive performance, and maintain technical excellence while managing a portfolio of high‑value, complex claims.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of motor claims adjusters handling personal injury and credit hire claims.
• Monitor and improve team performance against service standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical oversight on complex personal injury and credit hire cases.
• Maintain a personal caseload of high‑value, technically challenging claims from instruction through to settlement.
• Liaise with insurers, solicitors and other stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.

Required profile

• Extensive experience handling both personal injury and credit hire motor claims.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring a motor claims team.
• Strong technical knowledge of personal injury and credit hire claims handling.
• Demonstrated ability to manage claims from instruction to settlement within delegated authority limits.
• Familiarity with the OIC and MOJ claims portals.
• Excellent leadership, influencing, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective workload and priority management in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive attitude toward continuous professional development.
