Personal Tax Manager – High Wycombe

About the role

TPF Recruitment is partnering with a leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants in High Wycombe to hire a Personal Tax Manager. You will join a growing tax team delivering a broad range of personal tax services to individuals, directors and high‑net‑worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the personal tax portfolio assigned to you.
• Manage day‑to‑day tax compliance for clients, ensuring professional standards are met.
• Identify and consult on complex technical and risk matters with the Tax Partner.
• Provide ad‑hoc advisory and planning across Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Inheritance Tax (IHT) and Trusts.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Support, review and mentor junior staff members.

Required profile

• ACCA, ACA, ATT or CTA qualified.
• Solid experience within an accountancy practice, ideally 5+ years in personal tax.
• Experience in personal tax compliance and planning is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills.
