Personal Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Tax Manager to join a prestigious independent chartered accountancy firm in Henley‑On‑Thames. The role involves managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring compliance and delivering high‑quality tax advice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients with precision.
• Handle all compliance matters and prepare personal tax returns.
• Draft P11D forms and provide ad‑hoc tax advice.
• Participate in consultancy projects, including share restructuring, EIS/SEIS, EMI schemes.
• Represent clients in dealings with HM Revenue & Customs, managing inquiries.

Required profile

• ATT, ACA, ACCA or CTA qualification preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in personal tax within a chartered accountancy firm.
• Proven experience managing a personal tax client portfolio.
• Strong understanding of personal tax principles and basic international tax issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
