Personal Tax Manager – Tunbridge Wells

About the role

We are partnering with a leading chartered accountancy practice in Tunbridge Wells to recruit a Personal Tax Manager. You will work within a dynamic tax team, enjoying a high degree of autonomy and the chance to develop both personal and corporate tax expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of high‑net‑worth individuals, trusts and complex personal tax affairs.
• Lead tax planning projects covering non‑domicile status, onshore/offshore trusts, capital gains and inheritance tax.
• Prepare and review complex tax returns and ensure compliance deadlines are met.
• Handle HMRC enquiries and correspondence on compliance and advisory matters.
• Mentor and develop junior staff, overseeing their technical and professional growth.
• Support directors in the strategic development of the tax department.

Required profile

• CTA and/or ATT/ACA/ACCA qualified.
• Significant experience in personal tax within an accountancy practice or specialist tax firm.
• Proven track record in both compliance and tax planning for high‑net‑worth clients.
• Experience in managing teams and delivering client‑focused solutions.
