Personal Tax Senior (Hybrid)

About the role

As a Personal Tax Senior you will own a dedicated portfolio of personal tax clients, delivering end‑to‑end compliance and building strong relationships. Based in Farnham you will work hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) for a firm with a 20‑year history now led by dynamic directors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients from start to finish.
• Prepare, process and finalise self‑assessment tax returns, both simple and complex.
• Review compliance workflows to ensure all statutory deadlines are met.
• Take full accountability for client compliance, providing robust technical oversight.
• Communicate daily with clients, maintaining relationships with a high level of autonomy.
• Leverage practice systems to optimise deliverables and maintain smooth workflow processing.

Required profile

• ATT, CTA, or equivalent experience within a UK practice (preferred).
• Proven track record of reliable experience in a professional practice environment.
• Strong technical expertise in personal tax compliance and self‑assessment preparation.
• Proactive, can‑do attitude with the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
• Excellent communication skills for building trusted, long‑term client relationships.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with standard tax software.
• Experience using practice management tools.
