Personal Tax Senior

About the role

The firm is seeking a Personal Tax Senior to lead a portfolio of around 200 personal tax clients across the North West. You will act as the primary contact for high‑net‑worth individuals, non‑domiciled and non‑resident clients, ensuring timely compliance and advisory support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, delivering all compliance obligations.
• Prepare, review and submit personal tax returns, including complex capital gains and international considerations.
• Liaise directly with clients, HMRC and other stakeholders throughout the tax year.
• Provide guidance on tax planning opportunities for high‑net‑worth and entrepreneurial clients.
• Support the team with mentorship and contribute to the development of advisory services.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of personal tax compliance experience, preferably with high‑net‑worth or entrepreneurial clients.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a large client portfolio independently.
• Strong communication skills for client and HMRC interaction.
• Qualified by experience or ATT‑qualified.
