Personal Trainer – Edinburgh, Full‑time

About the role

Nuffield Health is seeking an enthusiastic Personal Trainer to join its Edinburgh gym on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will work 40 hours per week, split between gym floor duties and client‑focused training sessions, with a salary ranging from £28,421.12 to £31,195.84 OTE depending on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Motivate and support members to achieve their fitness goals.
• Deliver high‑quality inductions, Personal Best programmes, group classes and one‑to‑one training sessions.
• Perform general gym duties and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
• Build and grow a personal client base to maximise earning potential.

Required profile

• Qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer (REPs Level 3 or equivalent).
• Current CIMSPA Practitioner membership.
• Confident, outgoing, approachable with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to complete probationary gym floor hours and progress to higher earning tiers.

Required skills

• REPs Level 3 certification
• CIMSPA Practitioner qualification
• Ability to deliver Les Mills and group‑cycle programmes (optional upskilling)
