Personal Trainer

About the role

Join Nuffield Health in Edinburgh as a Personal Trainer and help members achieve their fitness goals while developing your own career in the UK’s largest healthcare charity. You will work on the gym floor and deliver one‑to‑one training sessions, using the organisation’s extensive health and wellbeing resources.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality personal training sessions, group classes and fitness consultations.
• Conduct inductions, fitness assessments and create personalised programmes.
• Motivate and support members to maintain a healthier lifestyle.
• Maintain gym standards and perform general duties on the gym floor.
• Build a client base to increase personal training earnings.

Required profile

• Qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer (REPs) or CIMSPA Practitioner (or higher).
• Current CIMSPA membership at Practitioner level.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable attitude.
• Ability to work both on the gym floor (32 hrs) and in personal training sessions (8 hrs).
