PFI Programme Manager – Engineering & Facilities

About the role

We are seeking a PFI Programme Manager with a strong engineering and facilities background to lead a complete lifecycle overhaul of a nationally recognised site. The role is hybrid, offering autonomy to shape delivery while working within a tight‑knit team of technical specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle overhaul of facilities and technical services, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Review specifications and plans, providing hands‑on technical input.
• Delegate work to contractors and external facilities providers and monitor progress.
• Liaise with internal departments, contractors and partner companies to drive programme strategy.
• Oversee a small team of five specialists, coordinating workload and priorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Programme Manager or similar in a PFI environment.
• Engineering/Technical facilities background with ability to obtain DV clearance.
• Experience in mechanical, electrical or M&E engineering within defence, MoD or security sectors.
• Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling and stakeholder management.
